The publishers also have a lot of power and will refuse to publish stuff if it doesn't conform to their ideas. The best thing is to self publish her music on her own namel it would be difficult but not undoable. I'd also suggest she tries innovative ways like maybe releasing an album for free, releasing an album through kickstarter where fans who back the project are also paying for the album while paying for all the work involved in making music. The music industry is stagnant and needs to be reinnovated. I'd love her to do her own thing too, but we don't know whats on her contract... They need to make money just like everyone else in the world Plus you NEVER burn your bridges I would. Some things are more important than money. Dignity, freedom, independence. She can always self release her music if she wants to. I'm sure it's not impossible. She won't get massive promotions like she has now but she'll be making all the things she loves which is the most important thing for someone like Gaga. If she get's out of the hands of Interscope, and wants to do anything on her own, can you imagine what them big coops will do to her? She has no money for stuff like payola like them. She'd be like a child in a forrest with wolves. There is a lot of shady business going on in that industry that we probably don't even wanna know about but on her own competing with the big boys and products like Katy Perry, I don't see it ending well. They probably own that too. :( I do hope lady Gaga is not a property of interscope I'm sure she was Gaga even before interscope so I'm hopeful... Hopefully the contract ends soon or there's some way to break it'll.if interscope is the problem that is, but I think she's made it pretty obvious they're the problem. She never said anything like this about her own record label before. I wish she would just keep her mouth shut and even pretend everything is all right if there are problems. I am here for the music not the drama. She can keep her struggles with her record label to herself and start releasing.
