Just because a handful of people only want you for your money, this shouldn't make you sad. You know why? Because there are millions of people all around the world who want you for your artistry, your talent and your kindness. Sometimes it seems that people are too powerful to object to but the people who think this are forgetting something; we are not just a handful of people, we are millions of people. If Gaga is someway unhappy about the position she is in, we owe it to her to either help her fix the situation or help her get through it as best we can. Everybody continue to send her love, for sometimes it's all we need to make our hearts beat once more.

It is so unfair that she has to be dealing with all that...

When did all of this started? Really, she was so happy during the fame and the fame monster... she had all the support from interscope, what went wrong? Why did they change?

Thats the thing nothing with Interscope is changing while she herself as an artist is.

Just remember though, we don't KNOW what's really going on. It's fine to speculate, but for all we know her problem has nothing to do with her label at all.

True, but it's an educated enough guess I believe. And in some screenshot in the previous page she actually does point fingers at the music industry if I'm not mistaken. I'm gonna check again.

Guys she's been strong for us all these years and now it's time for us to be strong for her. Can we just stop with the negativity and constant begging for the DWUW video and wanting this and that and we just need to be grateful for all that she's done for us and just be patient when it comes for what she will do for us. Gaga always talks about preaching love and positivity but yet some of her fans, the public and the media still bash her for "flopping" or what ever stupid reason and all she really needs is love and support which she has shown us, so can we all show some love for her. It sounds like she really needs it.

We don't know what is going on behind the scenes, it could be anything. I don't understand the negativity towards Interscope, they are the ones who signed her after she had been dropped by Def Jam.

Yes they will sign you if they can make MONEY out of you, it's their business, that's what they do.

The second part is HOW they make sure they get the money they want. Getting signed is a big deal but keeping them happy is the trick question.

Jesus Christ this just keeps getting weirder and weirder

She shouldn't be taking jabs at the label who helped her to be who she is today though

There's another artist I really like who got trapped in a contract she didn't want with an American label. Specifically, Utada Hikaru (gigantic in Japan) had a two-album contract she wanted to cancel with Island Def Jam after the first album because she wasn't doing well here in the states and couldn't be bothered. So she released a pretty lazy/terrible second album that she admitted openly she put very little effort into, made one music video, gave five performances, and left IDJ in the dust.

I wouldn't be terribly surprised if Gaga started keeping a looser schedule for the next couple of years, if the label is driving her this nuts. I don't think she'll do the bare minimum like Utada did, but who could blame her for at least trying to stick it to the label if what we all think they've done is true?

Found it she says: going through a lot of changes, the music industry can be very

And then it cuts off :toofunny: I suppose she said something more further down the chat.

She also stated that in her radio interviews that she does not want to be restricted by the label and that she wants them just to be a distrubutor of her work.
