This is a bit old-fashioned and long-winded, but you can rip ANY audio that gets played through your computer by connecting a two-sided headphone jack with one side in the headphones port and the other going into the microphone port. Then just hit record and play the song. ;)

there's the quality loss and volume and blah blah blah. get the original stream whenever it's possible or try a recorder sourcing directly from the WASAPI audio kernel. no physical bridges, puhleaze

I haven't done that since I made bootleg copies of cassettes I would borrow from the library, then I bought myself a doubt tape deck.
