That's just because you're not the target demographic for the remix. Urban radio listeners know him and his intro rap might open them up to giving the rest of the song a chance. This is not a typical remix, where everything is changed. They just added his part and left the rest as it was... A remix is a song that has been edited or completely recreated to sound different from the original version.
