Do you think Gaga invented her own genre of music? I say this because almost all of her songs sound very "Gaga" if you get what I mean. When you listen to other music artists, lets say Rihanna, Katy, Bieber, Miley, ect., the only difference between their songs is their voices because their music and lyrics are very interchangable (or in other words it feels like anyone of these artists could sing and use each other's music). On the other hand, even though Gaga's music is mainly electronic pop, the combination of her voice, her lyrics, and her mixture of genres results in songs that could only come out of Gaga's mind. That is why I think is very hard for most other artists to pull off a good cover/rendition of Gaga's songs (as these songs are very specific to Gaga).

So what do you think?

No sorry.  ;)

she has her distinct sound just like all artists but she didnt invent a genre, not yet at least. Not one single artist can invent a genre, art builds upon itself.

This is actually a very interesting theory. I think ARTPOP is a genre itself. When pop sucks the tits of art. so yes in a way

I think she has changed pop music and what plays on the radio.  She does have her own style.  It's usually more full and layered. I think pop has been around, but when she came out it changed the direction pop music was moving in.

No, Gaga just managed to make better dance music that stood out from her fellow pop girls. As well as her overall image. So naturally they all had to step their game up!

I don't agree that it's something different. While she incorporates different genres into her music, her album releases all trend towards this pop electronic dance music genre that is influenced by traditional rock, R&B, rap, etc made by herself and the leading EDM artist today like Zedd and Madeon.
