It's about money though. They get more ad revenue and/or page views by having a new page load for each item on the list. That's the whole reasoning for it. I work in entertainment journalism and constantly get annoying "reminders" to make slideshows whenever possible purely for this reason. I hate it, both as a writer and as a reader. I'm more surprised Work B**ch is in a better position than Wrecking Ball I'm surprised We Can't Stop also came in above Wrecking Ball. They should switch places imo. I can't stand We Can't Stop but Wrecking Ball singlehandedly made me take notice of Miley as a musician. It's such a good song. Im blonde, I'm skinny, I'm rich, and I'm a little bit of a bitch.
