Whats even funnier, is while I Wanna Go had like no promotion, I heard it on the radio a lot.

GUY, on the other hand...

That era was a complete mess, the promo, the tour, everything.

The album tho :legend: :worship:

I Wanna Go is generic as **** and followed the smash that was Till The World Ends.

GUY wasn't generic and followed moderate hit Do What U Want

That era was a complete mess, the promo, the tour, everything.

I'd have to disagree

While se didn't do that much promo (more then this era tho) the promo was very good. All 3 mini concerts were very good.

And I loved the tour, the Femme Fatale tour was awesome!

The album tho :legend::worship:

It was amazing

WHAT is weird about the Femme Fatale era is that there was never a Len Kagamine cover of Criminal.

Like how am I supposed to complete my "Len Fatale" collection without a Len Kagamine cover of Criminal?

But more or less on topic, nothing really mattered, it was Britney Spears.

Tokyo Rose

Britney has been known recently to be in complete control of her career and is definitely on top of promotional schedules.

Or at least that's the idea they desperately want us to believe  :giggle:

She didn't look enthused at all during those concerts tho, it was painful to watch.

I thought that tour was her worst when you compare it to her other amazing tours like DWAD, TOHT, TCSBS and even the Vegas show!

Those concerts were awesome! The sets, lighting, stage, dancers, the video screen, the props were awesome! Britney was kind of decent sometimes and looked super hot!

The tour had everything honestly. a great stage, great set list, great dancers, awesome videos and the lasers were cool! Britney was okay too and again looked really good.

It's so sad to watch her live performances :(

I know right?!!?!!?!!

Actually Gaga is guilty of it this era. Gypsy got more promo performances then GUY.

Gypsy got SNL and Muppets special, GUY only had David Letterman.

Just because it got more performances per say doesn't mean it got more promo. GUY still had way more free promo because Gaga was smart and featured one of the most popular Youtubers of all time in it, as most the traffic on the video (ESPECIALLY evident in the comments) came to see him specifically. Dope arguably got more promo than either of them, but thats an entirely different story since we are talking about the YouTube ads and the fact that it was promotional (Gypsy and GUY weren't even released yet..).

On yeah she also did Gypsy on Howard Stern. And I don't think some people Coming on to a popular you tuber is as big as a performance on SNL

lol @ you if you think anyone listened to the Howard stern interview (or Howard in general), much less stayed tune for the performance at the end of the extremely long interview.

And this is not just a "popular YouTuber". It's SkyDoesMinecraft  :toofunny: . By the end of this week, he will have 10 million subscribers. In March of this year, his channel reach 1.7 Billion views. He's estimated to be at 16th highest paid YouTubers in the world, making $2.3 million every year solely off of his videos. I'd say Google, a company much, muuucccchhh smarter than you and me combined, knows what they're doing when they value his celebrity at 2.3 million dollars per year. He has an astronomically large celebrity and it's condescending, belittling, and a little ignorant to think that because he isn't glamorous like Lady Gaga, David Beckham, or leonardo dicaprio, he doesn't have influence online. Considering Gaga has one of the worst proportions of fake-real followers on Twitter, I'd even say he alone has more influence over internet traffic than her. Give his loyal followers a week to catch up, and he easily brought in 10x more promotion than SNL did plus Howard Stern did with their one-time performances.

I challenge you to scroll through ~MAYBE~ 10 comments on the GUY video before finding a comment talking about SkyDoesMinecraft and how he brought them here (And i'll also guarantee it has significant "like"s and a trail of reply comments saying the same). Then, try to find literally ANY comment on ANY Gaga video from the past 12 months saying how SNL got them to give Gaga a chance. It's all about the 1st rule in advertisement in the 21st century; people will always want to buy something their friends promote over anything an ad company can make. These social media mega-giants have a much tighter fan base than you'll experience here, and they genuinely trust people like Sky and feel like he is their friend. So again, YES, he did sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much more promo than SNL did  :lmao:
