Juanjo 2,151
Guuuuurl, bye. In all honesty. I don't think she means this in a hateful way. I just think she's not aware she could be offending other people. :/

craig 680
Right? Where's the sensitivity when all the gays are calling each other "sis" and "girl" online all day every day? Bingo! There is an element of s-xism at taking offence at this coming from a female (like you think, "hey even though I'm gay I'm still better than women.") A girl who was into sports or engineering would take it as a compliment if she was told "she's just like one of the guys" by a guy.

Cupid 760
Ya'll swear like you don't call each other "girl" all the time. No need to take offense. Still though, bless your heart brit. If she called her black friends "niggers" because they do it themselves to each other, then you wouldn't be writing that sentence. Just saying. ELECTRAHEARTPOP 93
My personal view on her now is that of someone who really doesn't seem into this anymore. I always say that if she had it her way and could give the fame life up and move back to her hometown and raise her family, she would do it in a heartbeat. Her stardom and thirst for success and fame days are part of her youth tbh. She's moved on from that a long time ago. I think she honestly would prefer a much simpler life. I would love to see Britney personally in her everyday life just to see what she is truly passionate about. Possibly her family. But it's certainly not music nor the art of dance anymore. I just don't see it.... I've always loved her for the person she's always expressed to be and I still see that person. Someone who's always been humble and gracious... Back in 2011 when she released FF, I wanted to believe it was the return of her but as I read more and more criticism on these very boards, I started to realize that spark/passion was gone. It's sad, but I do believe that the passion we don't see in her work anymore is invested elsewhere in her personal life. I will always love Britney no doubt. I agree with all of this. I also think the reason Madonna, Michael Jackson and eventually Gaga don't and won't get bored with their long running career, is because they are and were in the industry to push boundaries and create good music. Britney never started making a breakthrough album. She grew up on TV, had a fling with JT, released ...BOMT and O!IDIA and rode it ever since. She was never in it to create controversial and artistic statements like other long running musicians we see today. She was manufactured. I mean nothing bad by this. I love Britney, Blackout is one of my favourite albums and I often jam to her music. I also think Britney Jean is pretty good. I just needed to add to this post, because I think Brit's lost her spark for performing, and is content being a mom to her beautiful boys. Happy Birthday Britney Spears :flutter:
