Phoenix 17,395
That's sad. But it's hard for a pop female today. Look at Britney, Gaga, Miley this year. Almost nobody is buying music today when we have internet and we can download it illegaly. 💎
Redstreak 6,653
It isn't surprising, given the numbers we've seen from the new albums of Katy, Miley, and Gaga - the ones who each scored at least a top 5 hit. The album sales for female pop artists have been abysmal this year, and that's just sad. Unfortunately, it seems no one wants pop anymore, especially female pop. Take a moment to think of just flexibility, love, and trust~
heavymlover 340
Can we just deal with the fact that pop music is fading in general? Even Katy's numbers are bad considering the HUGE era TD had.
ALX 170
Also is it true that Britney is going to take a 5 year break from the music industry after this album? :emo: I read it on a blog or something. no, she has a 2 year residency starting in Vegas lol also I even said it was going to sell 70K so it shouldn't have been surprising to people
thefamebitch 826
I'm actually really surprised, not trying to be rude but if Gaga is "on her way out" and sold triple what people are speculating for BRITNEY SPEARS, Gaga is not even close to being over. Britt 332
lies The only remaining 2013 release with the potential to move the needle in a disappointingly light late-2013 releases schedule are the third album from Columbia’s One Direction, hitting on Monday of Thanksgiving week (11/25), with estimates currently in the 500k range, and RCA’s Britney Spears, though her very light promo schedule, with little or no TV around the release, could put the album on the low end of the 150-200k forecast.
