I'm a huge Britney fan, but... the more I look into it, the less I understand why she's doing this job.

 

Because she has to. She's under a multi-million dollar contract with $ony to deliver albums and promote them. Britney Jean is the last one on that deal, and Vegas is the pay-off for not touring or doing performances.

 

It's very clear Britney doesn't want this and really isn't able for it anymore. For her sake I really hope she's allowed retire with her couple of hundred million dollars and just try for a semi-normal life with her kids and man.

 

After Vegas she'll be 17+ years doing this job, with nearly 100 million albums sold which is unbelievable, all things considering (surely her total record sales are in the 150-175M bracket?) and some of the best selling perfumes year-on-year. She earned her money and fame, surely she's earned the right to retire at 33 if she wants.
