I just clicked a link to "Tik Tik" from Ozzy's status. Thinking that would spark something but, Disappointed :( So far Work Bitch is my favorite from the album...But still not the best song she has (by a long shot) ..Definitely not better than most of FF's tracks. And that fascinates me. She claims the album to be personal, but there will always be this wall between her and the world. And that wall will forever keep me intrigued. I would die to learn the inner workings of Britney Spears' mind, the human behind the oh-so-artificial pop star. Britney Jean, instead of shedding that wall, only reinforces it. And, for me, that's great. I don't want to lose my fascination with Britney. If she bared all, I would have nothing to learn about her, nothing to speculate. It'd be a borefest. And as for Britney herself, I still think she's a fantastic pop star. She looked so beautiful and fierce in the WB video. Proved to me why she's still so amazing. As for there being no ''passion'' on Britney Jean, I don't really see what people are rambling on about. Britney has been a product since the beginning of her career. LStephens11 15 Posted November 30, 2013 Share Posted November 30, 2013 I think she wasn't taken care of properly (by herself and her team) when she snapped - it kinda started when she married Jason Alexander in 2004... what was she thinking, seriously? Knowing she was the QUEEN at that time and pulling a stunt like that - she wasn't. She was one of those child stars thrust into the spotlight and she never had time to catch up with herself. It's as if she's a female Michael Jackson in the mental department - not all together, never had time to get it together. Britney has a mental disorder (or multiple) and she's either on a really good cocktail that keeps her chilled out and "sane" all the time - possibly even too chill - or she's not on the right medication at all. Either way, Britney isn't the same Britney she was 10+ years ago. I love Britney, always have and I always will, and I'm hoping that Britney Jean is just a minor hump we have to go over and that album 9 will be a smash. At this point though, I think Britney is just in it for something to do. She seems to enjoy being a mommy and this new guy she's with - and it's not like she doesn't have enough money to chill with. She's just not altogether mentally and it's affecting her career and it's terrible that we're seeing the demise and decay of "the Legendary Miss Britney Spears" right before our eyes. She just recorded things that she thought were cool. At the risk of pitting two people against each other, there is a reason why most Britney fans hate every other female artist and they are more discussed on Brit's fan forums than Britney herself. Britney fans hate other female artists because they are often the antithesis of Britney. Articulate, fully involved with their own music, sings live, has a good voice, plays an instrument (no, those 5 seconds Britney tapped a few keys on a piano on MTV 10 years ago doesn't count), and actually communicates with their fans. Britney has never been regarded as an important part of the musical world. She's always been the ultimate tabloid icon. It infuriates them. MonsterMarty 96 Posted November 30, 2013 Share Posted November 30, 2013 This is so true. Remember 2007? I used to be obsessed with finding the latest videos, usually from HollywoodTV on Youtube... Even though most days she was off the rails, she was present and doing what she wanted to do, she could interact with photographers and people with her... Now she's gone so far into sedation she's dead behind the eyes. It's heartbreaking to watch old interviews when she was so full of life, only to have ones now where she's so forced and uncomfortable that it makes me feel uncomfortable watching. This is her last record for RCA, and her Vegas deal ends her promotional obligations.
