I know its old but just saw it now.

The reason this is packed compared to the artrave photos is probably because the ga is full of kids with their mommys and daddys. A Gaga ga floor might look sparse but remember little monsters go by themselves and make friends. Gaga has a floor full of genuine fans. Katy has a floor full of chaperones.

But I'd just like to add that i think artrave has sold very well. I've been to 2 shows so far and they were packed solid.

Deux Zénith de suite à Paris pour l’excentrique Lady Gaga – juste avant un Bercy le 24 novembre ; voilà l’occasion d’aller voir sur scène une star internationale qui a fait danser une grosse partie de la planète sur ses mélodies tubesques, de Just Dance à Bad Romance en passant par Alejandro. Intérêt : cette nouvelle tournée tient de l’exercice de survie pour la jeune new-yorkaise, qui a essuyé un échec financier et artistique avec son dernier album, ARTPOP. Grosses déceptions critiques et ventes médiocres, Lady Gaga mise désormais sur ses concerts pour ne pas se couper de son public. Danseurs à gogo, costumes incroyables et spectacle de haute tenue au programme.

 

Les Little Monsters ont répondu présent : le concert est bel et bien complet ce jeudi soir (demain aussi), selon le tourneur Live Nation. Les places s’étaient arrachées en quelques minutes il y’a plusieurs mois et les fans ont fait le déplacement et parfois de loin : on entend parler italien, allemand, anglais et on retient aussi quelques punchlines attrapées au vol dans la foule « Tu te souviens chérie ? On avait garé la BX ici pour le concert de Johnny Hallyday ». Le public est ici un mélange de jeunes trendy (pouce en l’air à la fille en robe à paillettes bleue et serre-tête-oreilles-de-chat) et gens plus sages ; on croise des spectateurs à moitié nus, des mères avec leurs filles, le sosie de Chris Marques, des mecs avec leurs mecs, et autant de jeunes que de vieux (on les reconnaît : ils ont les cheveux teints). Même combat et tout le monde fait la ola en attendant Gaga.

The tour is a survival one (? hard to translate) for the American Girl after the underperformance of her last album (...) Lady Gaga wants to stay in touch with her public with those concerts. Full of dancers and excentrics looks and a great show to watch.

 

-> Little Monsters are here/ both venues were full in minutes said Live Nations. Fans are here and from far sometimes: people speaking German, Italien, English (...). People are a mix of Young trendy one and more calm people. There're half naked people too men with their men and as much young people as old one (...) same attitudes, all makes the ola waiting for Gaga.

 

C’est ARTPOP, la chanson, qui ouvre le bal : installation grandiose et mise en scène freak show. Les ballons colorés volent un peu partout, les danseurs envahissent la place sous les confettis et tout ce beau monde court dans tous les sens sous des rythmes techno. Le plancher s’ouvre et c’est avec des ailes et au milieu de la fumée que Lady Gaga apparaît. Ce soir pas de costume en viande sur scène : on a vu la star en tenue de cosplay, s-xy à souhait, en “dalmapieuvre†(un mash-up entre un dalmatien et une pieuvre) ou en string-collant noir et fesses quasi à l’air. « Bonsoir Paris ! » de rigueur et elle enchaîne les chansons avec une grosse dose d’énergie et un peu de playback (non, non, pas trop). La première partie donne le ton : c’est cabaret burlesque et Lady Gaga chante même avec des chaises sur la tête. La production énorme (une douzaine de danseurs, une demi-douzaine de musiciens) paraît un peu à l’étroit sur la scène du Zénith.

The song ARTPOP opens it. Astonishing installation and freak show production. Colored ballons are everywhere and dancers with confettis too all runing in Techno rythmes. Gaga appared. No meat dress tonigh but we saw the star in Cosplay look s-xy as hell and "Dalmapieuvre" (mix between Octopus and Dalmatians) or in Dark String almost bare naked (hard to translate sorry).

 

"Bonsoir Paris" and she begins with a big energy and not that much playback. First part is a burlesque cabaret and Lady Gaga evens sings with chairs on her. The heavy production (12 dancers and 6 musicians) seems a bit compressed in the Zenith scene.

 

Côté chansons, on reste un peu sur notre faim. Le choix des titres de la tournée fait écho à la fierté de la new-yorkaise : « Si vous êtes venus ici pour n’entendre que mes hits, tirez-vous ! », et Lady Gaga veut défendre son album ARTPOP dont on entend toutes les chansons ou presque dans des remix techno-dance. Ce qui ne l’empêche pas de balancer dans des versions souvent trop courtes Just Dance, Telephone, Bad Romance, Alejandro, Poker Face, Paparazzi etc. Ses Little Monsters n’ont pourtant pas l’air de s’ennuyer et on voit même toute la salle les mains en l’air par moment. Croisé dans les couloirs, Willy, sweat à capuche (barré d’une tête de mort) et cheveux longs est surpris de la qualité du show : cet Allemand de 42 ans a fait le déplacement exprès depuis la Bavière pour offrir ce spectacle a sa fille Maria, 15 ans. Pas vraiment fan de Lady Gaga, il est survolté et danse de manière électrique sur les tubes de l’Américaine.

The sellist is not really enough and make us want to have more. The smashs should be longer but Gaga is proud and wants to perform her ARTPOP where all the songs are played. Her Little Monsters are not bored at all and we can see all the hands up in the air.

Willy a german dad of 42 that brought her daughter of 15 to the show is surprised by the quality of the show. Not really a fan, he's out of control and makes electric dance on the hits of the American Woman.

Conclusion:

 

Impressionnant dans sa production, le ARTPOP Ball Tour continue son tour du monde en transportant les gens sur des musiques calibrées pour les grandes salles. A Bercy (il reste quelques places), Lady Gaga devrait trouver une salle à la mesure de ses excès et continuer de séduire ses fans. Ils sont encore nombreux.

 

-> Impressive in his production, The ARTPOP Ball Tour continues her global tour while making dancing and shaking people on music made for the big attendances. In Bercy (still few place remains), Lady Gaga should find a place good enough for her craziness and continue to seduce her fans. They are still a lot of them.

11,000 people are expected tonight in Vienna. Last time she played for almost 14,000 people. I'll wait for boxscores + photos, but it seems like there are still many GA tickets available. However, seating tickets were sold-out.  I hope everyone will appreciate the show!
