Whispering 18,865
Oh... It seems real. Should I delete my message too? It seems real? That person lasted a few hours here. What makes you think a troll had accurate, inside information...that no other fan could get just by simply calling the ticket distributer? Come on...look at the obvious here! WarriorPrince 1
LiveNation or whoever booked the dates really needs to get fired, a second date for Sydney and Melbourne was just ridiculous from the start. Actually one date in Sydney and another in Melbourne would be more than enough for Australia considering the success of ARTPOP and their population. Better add two second dates in Australia instead of milking either Italy, Spain or Asia which is where the demand is at. (putting aside South America even though one date in Brazil and other in Argentina would be great)
TEANUS 15,687
The problem isn't the amount of shows, it's the lack of promo in Australia. Gaga wasn't there ONCE the whole era, which is completely ridiculous and plain out stupid. You can't expect to sell out shows in a major market that requires promo where none was given British social ladies with upturned pinkies, glasses clinking // xoxoTEANUS

They doesn't work like mainland Europe, for example. http://gagadaily.com/forums/topic/227246-ceremony-gagas-videography-megarate/

Well, that and in bigger countries, it requires you to do promo because everything is more spread out and word of mouth isn't effective British social ladies with upturned pinkies, glasses clinking // xoxoTEANUS

TEANUS 15,687
The Oceanian dates should have been like this with 0 promo: AUGUST 20 - SYDNEY - Allphones Arena AUGUST 23 - MELBOURNE - Rod Laver Arena SEPTEMBER 01 - AUCKLAND - Vector Arena And then during her June break she could've done promo and then added these dates: AUGUST 21 - SYDNEY - Allphones Arena AUGUST 24 - MELBOURNE - Rod Laver Arena AUGUST 26 - PERTH - Perth Arena AUGUST 29 - BRISBANE - Brisbane Entertainment Centre And then if those dates sold out: AUGUST 27 - PERTH - Perth Arena AUGUST 30 - BRISBANE - Brisbane Entertainment Centre British social ladies with upturned pinkies, glasses clinking // xoxoTEANUS

Luc 4,775
I Agree. and for S.A: 2 Brazil, 1 Argentina and 1 Chile. For the BTWBall, she went to Peru, Paraguay that was ridiculous, Madonna doesn't even go to those countries Gaga has a big fanbase in Paraguay and Peru they're future big markets LiveNation or whoever booked the dates really needs to get fired, a second date for Sydney and Melbourne was just ridiculous from the start. (putting aside South America even though one date in Brazil and other in Argentina would be great) Yeah, they really should fire Arthur Fogel and hire us instead. We know how to do it much better than that white old rich man you get that you can't go on a tour in Australia and only perform 2 arena shows? Same with Latin America. When you travel to Australia, you need to get back the amount of money the travelling of everything costed - which is a lot. That's also the reason why artists don't usually go to Australia. It's the same with South Africa, the Middle East, East-Asia and Latin America. The demand must be big enough for multiple big shows, else they won't make back the money they spent. somechick 1
Imagine... Gaga would be right near the bottom of the boxscores. Lady Gaga Melbourne, Aus. Rod Laver Arena 500 / 13,000 $2.75 Or something. lmao seeing as 20 of those 500 would be APZ holders she'd still have pulled in around $35-$40k just with 500 people. ;)
