so this means no matter how full the venue is at the australian gigs, only 50% of those people actually paid for their spot. that is pretty dire.

No, of course it doesn't mean that. This 2 for 1 deal just started. The tickets have been selling for months. Several of the first dates had already sold a good bit and even the second nights had already sold some tickets. None of the packages are 2 for 1 either.

are they giving out two tickets or one ticket? because i thought it said that the tickets now admit 2 people. so, all new tickets will be printed with "allows 2", or do all tickets now automatically admit two people? because if they do, then i'm sure most people will bring another person. and if they have the capacity to accommodate two people per ticket due to low sales / empty seats, i don't think what i said originally is far off at all. They are selling 2 for 1 tickets now. The ones already sold don't change. Those tickets are assigned to certain seats already.

Eh, we've known this about these dates in Australia for weeks, if not months. We saw it coming and it shouldn't be a shock, especially to the regulars in this thread. It's not like this is brand new information. Lol
