Foivos 64
I'm still holding out on this theory too. Katy may have more dates, but her tickets are mega cheap, almost insultingly cheap. That's the only reason why she's had so much demand for second shows. And even so, I've heard that her second UK dates are struggling. And this is for an album that sold more than ARTPOP and had a #1 and a top 10 single. I doubt she'll go to Africa and South America, so the only regions left for her to add are Asia and continential Europe. She may have more demand in Asia this time, but it won't be of stadium level. Taylor Swift had a breakthrough in Asia but she's only doing one arena per country and I'm sure it'll be the same for Katy. Even at her peak, she had basically no tour demand in Asia and her only big hit there this era has been Roar and the album sales weren't huge, so I don't know if one hit single is enough to translate into ticket sales. And as for continental Europe, well, let's just say that Gaga's leg will absolutely SLAY Katy's. Katy has never been big in continental Europe and she still isn't. Her leg for her last tour was absolutely pathetic, 13 dates in 8 countries at miniscule venues and she couldn't even sell those out, with audiences as low at 4,008 and with grosses as low as $177,640. It'll be really interesting to see how the continental Europe market is going to be handled this time. Because it'll just be embarrasing for her to do such tiny venues for such tiny crowds even though she's got a bigger hit catalogue than last time. So much tea spilled I just cannot :applause: Edited May 19, 2014 by Foivos

Because it'll just be embarrasing for her to do such tiny venues for such tiny crowds even though she's got a bigger hit catalogue than last time. You know is very easy to look at Katy prices to see that they arent that cheap. For Boston, they are $25.00 to $149.50. In comparasion, in Boston Gaga prices are from $35.00 to US $200.00. Floor tickets for Katy are $150, but for Gaga s are 85$. Another comparasion we should make its to another huge female artist at the moment. Taylor Swift tickets for Red tour were from $29.50 to $94.50 and she managed to make usually more than 1m per night. So, yes, tKaty Perry tickets are cheaper than Gaga s tickets, but mega cheap they arent. They are even pricier than usual, because she is becoming a force even with tours. I think you are one of the people who cant accept whats happening. Yes, Katy sold more singles than Gaga, the *non album* artist sold more albums than the album artist and yes, she would have a bigger tour than Gaga s. Accept it. Move on. It makes all this situation look worse than it is, when, just so that you could prove your point, you use words like mega cheap describing pricier tickets than usual, when you look ar her past tours, just that you can find something that can be considered embarassing. She maybe doesnt tour Europe because there isnt the demand, but she has more dates than Gaga in UK, US and Australia, dates where she sold 99% of her tickets. So, as you say Gaga s Europe leg will slay Katy s leg, it is also true that Katy s North America leg will slay Gaga s leg, that Katy s Australian leg will slay Gaga s leg. So, who really wins and how embarassing the situation is for Katy? Not so much. Katy will be at a personal best with this tour, Gaga will be at a personal worst, which will still be ok. But again, in this situation, why you worry about Katy? Edited May 19, 2014 by Florin

GagaMyBlood95 9,915
Do you think we will get a boxscore for the Seoul date since it is a festival? Possibly... If I'm not mistaken, Beyonce did get boxscores for some of her festival performances... I really hope we will, it's going to be big!

Bowie 4
Personally I feel that if the 3rd London show sells out within the next few months, she should add a fourth London date at The SSE Arena. It's smaller capacity, and could come with the second round of UK dates to break things up a little. Maybe have it as a bit of a Christmas-themed show if she did it at the start of December? However, if the 3rd O2 show doesn't show signs of selling out by say July/August, it's best to stick with 3 shows in the city. Do you think she could get away with adding a second Italian date, maybe in Rome (PalaLottomatica) or Bologna (Unipol Arena)? If not, it could be possible to fit in a show at the Arena di Verona (open-air Roman amphitheatre, it's beautiful ) between Athens and Antwerp perhaps, or else one at the Arena of Nimes, Southern France, depending on Bercy sales. Just my ramblings I think where possible she needs to milk the tour, but not too excessively.
