I was wondering the same thing...

But I saw that Miley had the same for her show in Atlanta... Maybe it's reserved to medias/packages or something else ? Or maybe all the seats have been sold entirely during the first hours of sales so they deleted them on the map ? I don't really know

uhm u know this went on sale ..... today :awkney:

Tickets =/= albums or singles.

She won't sell out these dates. The first hours are the hours with the most sales, and after that the sales are just low the whole time (like 200 tickets a week most of the time?)

Those dates aren't until after 5 months. Calm down. They wouldn't have added extra dates if they weren't sure she would sell them out.

They're in 4 months, and for example the Las Vegas second show almost none of the 2nd ring section is sold out.

She's not going to sell out these dates. There's not enough demand, let's face it. Let's just hope it'll be at least 80% sold out.

But they won't.

I mean... I followed all big tours since two/three years. I know what I'm saying.

You don't understand that the tickets are +50% sold in the first hours/day. Unfortunately, it's not the case here, sorry.

Phoenix wasn't a good choice because Gaga never sold out there. It was the same thing with the BTWBall so I don't understand Live Nation's choice. And in Vegas, the first show has sold-out after 2/3 months on sale, and there are again single seats available. I don't understand too. The 7k venue she's playing in Stateline is not even close to sold-out, so it shows that the demand is not so big in Nevada.

Los Angeles is a GOOD choice because the demand is high, she sold-out within hours.

I am sure Live Nation knows better and all of us together!

They are the ones making the money, they aren't stupid to lose money by their choice...

Stop with that. Live Nation ARE NOT thought-readers. They choose because they THINK.

Sometimes, they can make bad choices, they're humans not gods. These shows won't sell out because less than 40% is sold in one day and sales will stabilize in the next months. They can't know how will be the demand for the places where dates are added.

During the BTWBall, do you think they would have put Latin American dates if they knew that they were going to have to lower the tickets prices and create deals in some cities ?

Actually, they can know the demand for tickets!

Live Nation is the biggest organization when it comes to touring, they've been doing this for a long time, with many artists, so if you think they didn't calculate their profit, you are wrong my friend!

The dates may not be 100% sold out, but clearly, that's not the end of the world!

If every show was selling well, they would have reached +40M gross there.

The stadium renting is really expensive. For example, in France, the Stade de France renting is around 4-5M dollars. It's enormous ! And it grossed 6.4M, so only 1-2M are profitable.

I'm sorry but how they can do that ? Do they have a crystal ball to see ?  :hehe:

Sure, they calculate by using old numbers, and how the last tour/album was doing in that place, but... If they really know how tickets will be selling in a specific place, the BTWBall wouldn't have a 9,980 average per show in North America, trust me.

I wonder how Denver and SLC are doing. I hate those partner sites.

I think SLC is doing well because the map shows that the sections behind the stage are already on sale.

And I think that Cleveland show and Montreal are selling very well too !
