People saying that shows that are MONTHS AWAY from now aren't going to sell out

 

Mess, people for once be patient, she needs a single, or ANYTHING for the promotion of the tour...

Nope. ARTPOP has sold 4-5x less than BTW in Japan and is already out of the Top 100, and with the BTWB she played to 100k. DWUW didn't re-enter the Top 300 after the pre-order effect was gone, and Applause is out of the Top 300 now too.

 

How did Gaga's management manage to make Japan not love her?

 

 

Sydney and Melbourne haven't sold out yet. She can't do more dates there, unless she does promotion.

1. Gaga is a big touring-artist in Asia. And we have to wait and see if its going to sell good.

2. Sydney and Melbourne is almost sold-out. She should do some promo and add them dates.

East-Asia was the only place where she more or less sustained TFM/TF's success. Even PRISM is more successful in East-Asia (not Japan tho) than ARTPOP. And like I said, ARTPOP's sold 4-5x less than BTW in Japan. Album sales reflect touring receipts, if we haven't learnt that from the Australian leg, where her tour was huge too but embarassingly small right now. She will sell out the first date in Japan, after all, ARTPOP opened with 58k. Perhaps a second date will sell out too, but no way she is performing 5 shows there, unless she does some gigantic promotion.

I think she can do 4 shows in Tokyo, she's huge there. Two shows in Melbourne and Sydney is realistic too.
