The song underperformed just in time for Roar to die down and now Dark Horse can smash a lot .. If DH was the 2nd single It would've been against Roar ... Roar was too big for a 2nd single .. If Unconditionally was released late November It would've done better than what it did .. but yeah right now everything is more than perfect for Dark Horse so I don't think Uncle was a problem ..I still believe that Dark Horse could survive Roar's massiveness. It did and it was only a promotional single. If The first 2 singles of Prism had been massive things would be much better now and Ill explain why. With 2 singles smashing even if Capitol would still choose Unconditionally as a third single and the song still flopped, they would have much more time to push the single and make it a forced hit. That way Katy would have 3 top 10s from Prism of which the first 2 would smash and they would also have many consecutive top 10s in her Discography. Now they had to abandon Uncle and move to Dark Horse. That way Uncle has officially flopped and DH has lost monumentum from staying for 3 months in the top 30 of iTunes without being a single. If there is a system that tracks view, I don't know why would the views tracked, will disappear because of the video being deleted ... but Idk I still believe that Dark Horse could survive Roar's massiveness. I agree with some points, but DH is far away from loosing momentum The song is smashing after being top 30 for 2 months, this is Impressive, the song hasn't lost any momentum at all. . . Thw fact that its smashing doesn't mean that it wouldn't smash more though. Of course maybe you are right and the song hasn't lost any monumentum at all.
