Media has been trashing Gaga left and right for selling 12k less, and big/reliable sites believe things from that one site, like the $25 million wasted rumor. If Gaga had a better PR Team, those rumors wouldn't even exist. Music these days isn't just selling music, it's selling an image. Most people only buy albums if they truly like the artist or the album, I've actually read incredibly stupid things like "yeah if she didn't cloth that crazy I would actually buy her music", and whenever Gaga's braught up in a conversation the first things that come to mind are 'extravagant', 'meat dress', 'poker face', 'pop'. If you bring up Beyonce, the first thing people think about would be 'Single Ladies', 'very talented vocalist', 'Destiny's Child', 'great performer'. yea that BS about 25 lost millions when Gaga didn't even have that much promo pre ALbum release And Interscope didn't say anything (and they don't have to, this is Gaga's manager work, not Interscope's job to do) Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

The GP want to hate on Gaga, they don't just hate her, they WANT TO hate her .. Speechless, Yoü and I and DOPE don't really show what she's capable off. It sounds good, but the vocals aren't better than let's say MTN. TeoG and Gypsy are dance songs after all, they're not ballads. I'm talking about DWUW/Gypsy acoustic, Lady Is A Tramp kind of songs. Just because a song is a ballad doesn't make the vocals extraordinary: see Unconditionally. DOPE doesn't show off her vocals a lot in my opinion. And most people haven't ever seen an acoustic Gaga performance, know that radio stations, SNL, Japanese performances and tours are only seen by a few millions, while the Super Bowl, Eurovision Song Contest, Soccer World Championship and such are watched by hundreds of millions. Grammys and BRIT awards have lots of people watching too. But VMAs, AMAs and awardshows like that are all watched by the same people, and because of so many performers, there can only be one that stands out - and usually that's the controversial one. She needs to perform the Alan Carr version of DWUW on The Voice and the song will go top 5 on Itunes I have the feeling that she really don't feel comfortable when she is on TV in the USA ... just watch the Interviews and performances in the USA this era and compare them with UK and Japan ....... And speaking of things we're hoping to push DWUW, what happened to the Rick Ross remix? Would we even get it this year? I am sure that The Voice and the video will move the song, but still she did a lot of promo for DWUW and the song is being stable in top 20 which is ok (but some other songs went top 5 with less the promo) .. The hate for Gaga is just so big, I can't understand it she is so sweet :emo: I don't care about the Rick Ross remix tho .. I mean It will be good for Rhythmic but still .. And I'm also the one who is here for her to actually start performing more and more this way to remind people that she's a true musician. It's easy to forget it because of her EDM stuff and costumes etc. It's sad. And I'm also here for her to actually start releasing more music like DWUW where she sings her a** off.
