Even though I'm a huge fan of Rihanna, I, too, cannot help myself from thinking of the possibility - given that UMG was alleged to be notorious in fabricating views on YouTube, which included videos from their flagship artists like Bieber, Gaga, and even Rihanna herself. Here's the article back in late 2012 with the news of YouTube stripping over 1 billion "fake" or "dead" views from UMG artists alone. Who knows if they still continue with this kind of tactics?

Yes. It's just a bit fishy. I like Rihanna, and it may be the sheer amount of videos that she has that give them such popularity, but it just strikes me as very odd that even her most unknown videos have so many views.

It's either herself or her mom.

I think she doesn't have one.

Firstly was her Daddy, then they announced the split, then Bey managed herself during 4 era, and then they announced that she is with Jay Z now ...

Mine ft. Drake is going to smash and of course Drunk In Love ft. Jay

Pour It Up gathered 40 million views in a week and still failed to enter the top 200 on iTunes.

That's not even logical.

The problem is that teen girls are what's driving pop album sales right now.  Let's use a little honestly in this situation and just admit that Gaga has been giving off the persona of a 50 year old grandma since BTW.

She started out as this hip, cool, and fierce girl with star power.  She's completely ditched that image.  Just take a look below:

No wonder girls are buying Prism.  At least you could believe that Katy is even in her 20's.

Who cares? Gaga could make radiofriendly and generic music like Katy, but it's just not her thing. Gaga is a true artist.

Wait, Pour It Up had 40 million views first-week? :deadbanana:

Rihanna's stan-/fanbase is kinda small, so that's impossible.

Yes. It also failed to enter Billboard's Hot 100 despite the massive streaming :deadbanana:

They probably tracked the fake views and decided not to let it chart.

Pour It Up views weren't fake .... everyone on my FB Timeline were posting the song the whole week, from str8 guys to girls everyone ...  the same on Tumblr ..

It'll be fun to see where Beyonce stands at the week-end charts with only iTunes WW, seeing as iTunes isn't big in selling albums in lots of countries. It might end up making iTunes more popular in selling singles/albums WW.
