The most ideal thing I could imagine for Do What U Want would be that she releases the video as soon as possible then she releases the remix with that rapper (forgot his name) if it is still on in January.

I'd prefer releasing both simultaneously or at least within the same time period to maximize everything, to counter these abysmal sales.

Agree, but maybe this is the  longevity plan?     :pukey:

Whispering

I agree with some things you said but this doesn't give others the right to call this people idiots or stupids.

and the member who said flop everytime is banned.

I haven't see that many meltdowns lately, people complaining about it are late and I think the problem is more of respect

True, it has gotten a lot better! And you are right, a few meltdowns every now and then don't hurt. Everyone has them from time to time!

Yeah, whatever. I think it would be best the way I just said though.

I just watched the predictions... omg I mean, it's ok we knew this was coming but I am so so sad, not because of the numbers... is more because if this was really a bad album it would be ok to not to sell, but since this is ARTPOP we are talking abou aka one of her best and the best of this year (deal) I feel so sad for the album...

And I'm starting to get mad at the fact that we don't have a video for DWUW yet. We need it! She has a ****ing hit there and she's "ignoring" it

let's no :rip:  just because someone has an avi from other artist doesn't mean they aren't Gaga fans  :rip:

and most people that post here cares about Gaga  :coffee:

He/she is referring to the shading comments not their avi.

It's strange there has been almost no hype from Gaga about the new video, but I guess there is a reason behind it

Radio-wise, DO WHAT U WANT is still far away from APPLAUSE in terms of AI, although today it passed APPLAUSE on POP radio, it's clear APPLAUSE still takes a lot of spins which could possibly go to DO WHAT U WANT :shy:

But there're still 5 songs which are falling down in the TOP 10, (Wake Me Up, Wrecking Ball, Royals, Hold on We're Going Home and Slow Down), which kinda automatically puts her to No.8 on Pop Radio and that's a positive sign   She can obviously chart higher in case she overtakes Sweater Weather, Stay The Night and Unconditionally.

What I mean to say is that if DO WHAT U WANT does well through the Christmas mess and all the year-end countdowns, and starts getting solid updates once again in January, then by the time it accelerates the songs like Demons, The Monster and Counting Stars might start falling already and with the January video release the song might jump to the new highs

That's actually a great possibility. A Jan. video release seems like the best way to ensure maximum peaking on the charts. It's not like radio play will stop as Dec. continues and the song is falling drastically on itunes. who knows?

It's strange there has been almost no hype from Gaga about the new video, but I guess there is a reason behind it

After people whined about her "overhyping" and "announcing the announcement" and "betraying" them if she changes her mind or is late, Gaga doesn't give a lot of advance hype anymore.

No word on Bennett album. Not much advance notice on tour going on sale. She just does stuff when she's ready.
