Let's face it, the video will barely help DWUW anymore at this point. We can forget about a rebound to the iTunes Top 10 for DWUW. At this point I'm hoping the video gets released 3 months after the ARTPOP era ends so we can quickly jump to Gypsy before the Grammys.

Excuse but this is bull****. Of course DWUW can rebound on top 10. Of course the video will have impact. Katy's Dark horse is selling 3 months already without a video and is still going strong. The fact that you want DWYW to flop just to release Gypsy eventhough the single has potential to become a big hit is ridiculous. Since when have all of you become such chart experts is beyond me. Its the same people that said Applause wouldn't last one month and that MTN will become a hit.

No, it's not. I didn't even care about charts when MTN happened. Of course the video will have impact, but will the impact be as big as the Work Bitch or Applause video at this point? Will it rebound into the Top 10 in a few hours after the video release? And let's be honest, even the 'actual' chart experts like labels and people who do it as their job didn't expect Applause to last long. But what I have learnt from Applause is that any song with good airplay will have longetivity.

The video can have a lot of impact and how far you release it from the song doesn't matter that match(I'm not talking about 5 months later of course). Wrecking Ball was released a lot later after the song was released and it had huge impact. Of course the impact won't be instant but it will be enough to make the song enter the top 10 and stay there.
