Mills 446
1. Applause 2. Do What U Want (feat. R. Kelly) 3. Gypsy 4. G.U.Y. 5. Sexxx Dreams i need this Same here. But if this line-up shall be followed, the re-release / EP / ACT II must be released in the last quarter yet again. If there's a compromise to choose, I'd go for either G.U.Y. or Sexxx Dreams as the final single for ARTPOP ACT I, assuming that there would indeed be a follow-up next year. Aurajandro 132
Ummm... IDK if she would promote in Europe this month and return to US in late Dec... BTW, I think shes gonna release ACT II right after the 1st leg of NA Tour... (Most likely an EP / sth like dat) and tour around the world with artRAVE 2.0 and then back to NA... (Same concept w/ MB)
Luc 4,775
Nah, this month she should focus on the bigger countries. She needs to promote in France, Germany and the US so DWUW will take off on airplay there, it's already doing great in sales there but it just needs more airplay. Unfortunately thats the only way Gaga can be saved Yeah, a collaboration with a high-profiled artist like Rihanna seems to be the easiest route to get an instant smash next year or in the near future. Well, not necessarily Rihanna per se, but someone in her caliber in terms of getting that much needed cross-over appeal. But of course, I'd take Rihanna any day over the likes of Pitbull. Mariano 958
No. This isn't about 'etc', it's about vocals and instrumental. I'll just quote the Wikipedia, they can explain it much better anyways 'The category was introduced in 2012 and combined the previous categories for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance, Best Male Pop Vocal Performance and Best Pop Instrumental Performance. The restructuring of these categories was a result of the Recording Academy's wish to decrease the list of categories and awards and to eliminate the distinctions between male and female (and in some cases, solo instrumental) performances.' 'Awarded for quality vocal or instrumental pop recordings' And fact is, the vocals were of better quality on Applause and Wrecking Ball. Yes, they don't care about the lyrics of the song. Lady Gaga can sing a whole song with "You are a ****, you look like a ****" but with the best Instrumental and her best vocals and she will get nominated. . . Please :) And yes that's the same thing what I said (About Applause and Wrecking Ball deserving more than Roar) but you can't say It's a FACT, because the only FACT we have is that Applause and Wrecking Ball are not nominated therefore Grammy thinks they don't deserve. Well, yes. At least, that's what this grammy category is about. Vocals and instrumental of a pop song. Sadly, it's become more of a most popular pop song now.
