Valextra 58 Posted January 13, 2014 Share Posted January 13, 2014 If you wanna say something about Applause video though just learn that it was flawless and the public loved it No absolutely, I love the 'Applause' video, I was speaking in general, Gaga in the last works has always chosen fashion photographer (see also the Terry case with DWUW, and the BTW era), and for me it's time to get back with professional music videos directors, I love fashion photographers but they don't have in my opinion (maybe 'Applause' it's the only exception) the same 'X-Factor' of director like Lawrence and Akerlund that they have done the best videos for Gaga in my opinion, I want that she get back to that level and above ;) And this is very important because Gaga is a Visual Artist and her videos are a really huge part of her. If Gaga has success with Gypsy, Venus, ARTPOP, or even Jewels N' Drugs, I don't even care. I just think she deserves for her singles to be successful, so that's why I'm siding with Gypsy. Not because I like it more than other songs on the album, but because I think it'll give her the success she deserves. Yes. It isn't which song I like better. I love both songs, but I want Gaga to be successful. It's not guaranteed Gypsy will smash either but it may help album sales. If Venus flops, her sales will look horrible. Plus, I think if the third single is bad, the momentum will be gone for fourth single.
