In my opinion definitely YES, because she has IMMEDIATELY big updates ALWAYS...

They JUST announcing 'DH' as 3 single, and immediately BIG UPDATES and immediately they stopped to play 'Unconditionally', it's more than obvious, and without 'radio' she has proved that she can't go on the top10 alone.

mte

She has more than great digital sales too (with the exception of Uncle), so I don't get it... She's just writing (lol) for the charts, that's it.

That phrase when someone can write for charts is very stupid, you can't write for charts you can make music and then see how people react to it. Uncle is "written" for charts and look what happened

Kiis yesterday:

Applause: 16 spins

Dwuw: 5 spins

Kiis today (19 hours left):

Applause: 1 spin

Dwuw: 4 spins

Did they finally remove Applause and put Dwuw in PR? :excited2:

:applause: The timing of this couldn't get any better.

KATY PERRY – Unconditionally: 74.242 (- 2.363)

KATY PERRY – Dark Horse: 26.428 (+ 2.903)

Do they really pay radio to play her songs?

While there must be some truth with these allegations concerning KP, given that her label was once fond of using tactics for the sake of performing better in the charts, I somehow find claims of payolas on radio as the most convenient excuses to discredit the song's mass appeal. Her songs have always been among the most played, even during the Hot N Cold days. And it's not like her songs aren't completely engineered/produced/written to be successful on radio. Wouldn't it be more reasonable that radio simply just like playing it, like they always have? Or doesn't the AI difference just mirror the songs' positions on iTunes?
