It's not payola. Radio just loves Katy and will play whatever she puts out, they thought Uncle would be a smash but the public said no so now they're dropping it and moving on to DH. Mariano 958 Posted December 14, 2013 Share Posted December 14, 2013 Interscope has literally f**** up this ERA no they didn't , Troy did He messed up Gaga's creative plans first (Gaga announced some song titles that were 100% going to be on the album: TEA for example ) (Then she announced that most of the song are longer and that she don't care about the radio) Then I guess Troy cried about all of that + that he wants more commercial songs and even tho they Split, I am sure that Gaga still listened to him at first because only that will explain why every song is 3-4M even Swine that was supposed to be way longer is 4 minutes ... And of course he messed up her promo, They didn't believe in the album and as It was reported, they didn't push the promo and Its full potential .... I am really looking forward to the next era (Already, I Know ) This era is messy just like Beyonce's 4 era was messy because she Managed herself then ... 'Applause' video is very great, and it has great visual, watch it in HD... Gaga was the first in the last years to re-give 'popolarity' to the concept and the importance of the music video... After Gaga everybody has started to do it, in the last Beyoncè's videos I see a lot of Gaga influence... And also the concept of 'mini-film' for a video.
