She had a team of top hitmakers and artists for collaborations to a "summer camp" for this CD. The no hype-surprise attack on a Friday night IS the hype. If she didn't care about the charts, she wouldn't have hired top directors to shoot accompanying videos with every song. If she didn't care about the charts or sales, she wouldn't have bought all the itunes banners. She wouldn't of released it this way, making sure that there were no leaks of the music or the release date. Beyonce is a smart businesswoman and has been in the business for 15 years. She workd extremely hard, but there's no doubt about it, she is fiercely competitive. True, but when Beyonce now says she doesn't care about the charts, it'd be really believable. This is a lot of promo considering there are 17 previews .. let alone all the headlines and some celebs posting on twitter about It + all the fans and the buzz ... And also there are 2 albums one with videos and one without .. Some people bought probably both Idk .. But they already said that Beyonce is halfway through the sales of the album that was going to be number 1.. so It's definitely reported sales ... We will see anyway. Bey's CD release isn't some budget project recorded in her home studio. It took precise planning, tons of money and stealth like dsitrubution. Also, there's a difference between caring about the charts and sales and WRITING for the charts. What is it that you don't get about that? Gaga doesn't write for the charts.
