I love the MJH explanation.  Makes me love the song even more.

Anybody that claims Gaga is just another pop star with a writing team needs to listen to this.

IA, I mean, there's people that help her (and she mentions them), but it's always been clear that she's the main one writing these songs.

03:20. "Started out as a ??? groove"  :excited2:  :eww:

thank you

I'm doing a transcript right know, so if you like you can correct the mistakes and fill in the ugly holes when I'm done, that would be great  :)

Mess at some of the songs being so loud that you can't hear what she's saying.  :fail:

I need someone to come up with a concise list of the adrenalines I got most of them but some idk or am not sure of lol

EDIT - (add "the adrenaline of" to each of my explanations)

Aura - Transformation, but also showing her real self.

Venus - Sex, psychedelic fantasy.

G.U.Y. - Sex, trust and exploring gender roles within a relationship.

Sexxx Dreams - Sexual fantasy, feeling "naughty".

Jewels n' Drugs - Hanging out and collaborating "outside the box".

MANiCURE - Getting pampered and gussied up, obsessive love.

Do What U Want - Sex, standing up to criticism.

ARTPOP - Combining art and pop, expressing oneself, creativity.

Swine - Anger and fear, but also hanging out with someone who is a bad influence when you should know better.

Donatella - Being around her creative influences, being "fab", owning criticisms instead of shying away from them.

Fashion! - Transforming and transcending mundane life through clothing and fashion.

Mary Jane Holland - Weed, debauchery, being herself away from the fame.

Dope - The come-down from all the album's adrenaline highs.

Gypsy - Having a nomadic lifestyle, finding love that fits her lifestyle.

Applause - Performing to a receptive audience.

Like TFM! Each song had a fear. Now for ARTPOP! Each song has an adrenaline rush!

So Gaga was scared to pick up her telephone?

So Gaga was scared to pick up her telephone?

The songs had an actual meaning idk if u noticed. It's not like she was scared of bad romance or scared of monsters or teeth. Telephone: the fear of going out to party in a relationship? Getting caught?

So Gaga was scared to pick up her telephone?

She said it was inspired by fear of "The Suffocation Monster"

Fear of suffocationâ€â€something that I have or fear is never being able to enjoy myself, ... 'Cause I love my work so much, I find it really hard to go out and have a good time. ... I don't go to nightclubs, ... You don't see pictures of me falling out of a club drunk. I don't goâ€â€and that's because I usually go and then, you know, a whiskey and a half into it, I got to get back to work

So Gaga was scared to pick up her telephone?

I think she said that telephone - along with so happy i could die - is about her fear of alcohol

I was looking more for maybe one/a few word "Adrenaline of _____" statements but this helps too, thanks :D

Telephone is Fear of Suffocation, and SHICD is Fear of Addiction (from my background knowledge)
