How am I supposed to get you together when you can't even articulate why you dislike something?

well that's true. I simply don't get their act. What purpose does their act serve? Like in Applause lyric video they are just ''dancing'' while applause is playing? Is that supposed to be fun?? What's their talent? 'cause for me it's not artistic or interesting at all.

That's literally the same argument people who don't "get" Gaga give against her.

It's an act of expression. They're having fun.

And people saying RuPaul isn't a positive figure really are too young to remember when he literally was THE icon of loving and appreciating your own differences. He's been inspiring people for over 20 years.

Oh no, I wouldn't compare Gaga with drag queens. But if they are happy then I'm happy too. I just simply don't find it interesting, artistic, entertaining or sending any message to the world. It's fun for them, but is it fun for us? Not for me.

The message is that you can be whoever you want to be. Sound familiar?

Yeah, I get that. They dress the way they want to and I don't think it's bad or anything. What I don't get is their act on stage. Like in Applause lyric video they are just dancing while Applause is playing and their dance is not even interesting to watch.. That's what I don't get. What's the point of that? Is this their talent? Everyone could do that.

In their defense, the "Applause" music video wasn't executed very well. I don't suppose that if that was your first exposure to drag culture it would have left a very accurate impression.

Drag queens perform through lip sync while in "drag," a persona they create themselves from the ground up. Most drag queens sew & stitch their own garments, choreograph dance, and meticulously paint their faces all on their own.

A good drag queen is unarguably talented; there's a damn good reason Gaga holds them in high regard.

Thank you for explaining. But what's the point of lip syncing while doing some dance moves? And again, I'm happy that they do what they love, wear what they like, there are people who like them. However, I don't get it and don't like it. To each his own I guess. Maybe some day I'll see an amazing drag queen and I'll think differently, but not now.

Well, I think SNL was successful because Gaga was brilliant there, her skits were funny and ironic. I believe GP was watching it. Little monsters alone won't bring huge ratings. They didn't bring huge ARTPOP sales either. There are no millions of die hard fans. Personally I wouldn't watch performances with drag queens. I don't have anything against them, I just simply don't get them. I watched Applause lyric video literally once and it made me hate that song until it's music video came out. I think most of GP thinks the same. Also, I have no idea why people like Muppets  It's just stupid dolls... What's the point of these dolls? And don't get me wrong, I don't care for Gaga's success or chart positions, I'm just not excited for drag queens and dolls..

There are so many things wrong with what you said, but I'm not going to even try to argue with you.
