but i do agree. Instead of firing back with hate, just block the person and move on with your life. why spend time fighting with someone you don't know? it won't get you anywhere. 

 

but the twitter names are just for fun... it's a fanbase thing. Unless they are being assholes about it.

Well, I really hate that she did this on twitter. Twitter is a mess and you can only express yourself in a limited amount of characters. Secondly, I disagree with her asking those katycats to change their name. Especially 'katyslays'. It's really not in her place to suggest them to change their name. Thirdly, is putting the name of her album next to all of this important? Ugh. Takes away from what she's saying.

But overall, I'm proud of her for taking this stand. It's a brave thing to do, going against the current.

And I have never blindly stanned for her either.

Most people, I believe, say those things as jokes too. Should we no longer say things like "when will your faves", "gaga slays", etc because according to Gaga we are creating competition between artists? I just don't agree with her on this. :roll:

I think she really can't stand the Katy's domination lol

Obviously deep down inside it bothers her.  She's been a competitive pop star for the past 4 years but I think she's trying to break away from that.

 

and I saw someone brought up the Carly Rae Jepsen thing she tweeted... that is totally irrelevant because it was before her fight with Sharon/Kelly and she didn't even know what ARTPOP fully meant.

I like that she's doing this but it would be smart to address a variety of twitterfans, not just Katycats. She should start her movement with all those nasty ass monsters out there anyways, before commenting on fans of other artists if you ask me.
