NUTELLA 25,906
If a song doesn't win me over with its instrumental/melody I can't be bothered to pay attention to lyrics 3
DESTROY UR DISEASE 19,420
I like it when a song has some great lyrics for sure but if the song itself melodically and production-wise is uninteresting then most likely I won't really care about it I think that a solid production can make up for some poorer lyrics. After all music by definition has much more to do with the melody rather than with the lyrics. I can smell your sickness I can... 2
AVeryGagaHolyDick 31,696
For Gaga? Usually the instrumentals (even though it depends) But I 100% agree with the other users: great lyrics can only be appreciated if the sound is great
Junko Enoshima 4,516 Posted yesterday at 12:23 AM Share Posted yesterday at 12:23 AM Instrumentals nd melodies, they’re a pair and can’t be separated. I listen to music in all kinds of languages, so even the voice of the singer comes before lyrics for me lol My b00vs are hopelessly huge
Nenifir 91
I voted instrumentals, but melodies are important too. I think they both go together as Junko Enoshima said above. English isn't my first language, so I've kinda learned to ignore lyrics and just vibe with the sound. Like one great example is the American Life rap by Madonna, as a kid I had no idea what it meant but it sounded great lmao.

SleepingSun 1,276
The melody is what makes or breaks a song for me, though admittedly, if a song has a great melody but beyond stupid lyrics, I have a hard time listening to it One second I'm a troll, then suddenly the troll is me.
