In Like With You - A bit of a softer song, sort of like the song "Still Into You" by Paramore, very poppy and fun. Think Summerboy, sort of superficial and immature. 3. ???? (featuring Britney Spears) - A song that is a lot like Britney's early work, with a more modern twist. 4. Temple - Experimental, sort of like Black Jesus, the most Born This Way-esque of any ARTPOP track. 5. TEA - The song that leaked, Gaga's voice is completely unrecognizable 6. TECHPOP - Think of the effect on Gaga's voice in Aura's bridge, this song would be like that the whole time, and would be very industrial. Limited and repetitive lyrics.Lots of auto tune. 7. Onion Girl - A Zedd song that has a kick-ass beat, and is a bit bipolar, containing angry lyrics, as well as soft ones. A fan favorite. 8. Tinnitus - Continuing the "angry" theme, this song is about partying and having fun, with no relation to the actual disease. 9. Red Flame - Ratchet instrumental on steroids. Think Nicki Minaj's Roman's Revenge. 10. PartyNauseous - Has trap influence opening, that segues into an EDM masterpiece. 11. Temple - Electro-ballad, like Gypsy, but this song is definitively more electro, than emotional, futuristic. 12. Brooklyn Nights - One of the more raw songs, think the Sex Dreams rehearsal videos, deals with Gaga's insecurities, and her love of New York. 13. Princess Die - same as the one she performed. "Dope" of Act II 14. Unknown Title - the shortest song on the album, a song that is very personal, and deals with her troubles during this era. 15. The Stage - Applause's twin sister, a song about the love of performing, but more melancholy, the last 30 seconds is an eerie beat similar to Bloody Mary's. We got like 3 singles (official and promo) before the album + songs debuted via the Farmville thing, and the Government Hooker and Scheisse remixes also. The difference is the material was more intricate and more surprising than ARTPOP. I was away from my internet connection, at my grandma's house leading up to Born This Way, so I had only heard Born This Way, Judas, Hair and Edge of Glory. I nearly jumped out of my skin I was so excited at the sounds on Born This Way when it got leaked. The same just didn't happen for ARTPOP. So I really hope Act II turns out to be the "Fame Monster" of the ARTPOP era. I'm the complete opposite! ARTPOP on first listen gave me chills! BTW is definitely a solid album and is sonically really pushing boundaries but to me ARTPOP embodies the same aspects but is just purely more fun and a bit silly. I love when gaga says that BTW was the fight for revolution and ARTPOP is celebration because I truly believe this is so accurate. Duke 437 Posted January 15, 2014 Share Posted January 15, 2014 DJWS was a better lead producer than Fernando. Fernando let those god awful echoes into Born This Way that haunt me to this very day.
