Here are some pros and cons Pro: Gaga loves it Gaga made it Live performances slay It's weird Sun-ra sample well placed Planet choreography (Muppets special, etc) The way she speak-sings "VENUS" in the beginning Con: Poor production quality. Doesn't sound good or modern. Bland and tinny. Underproduced. I don't think it has poor production, I think it sounds modern just not on trend, I dont think its underproduced either. She sometimes succeeds, IMO. When has she really though? Her landmark albums The Fame+Monster were so great and well received because she went for the pop juggular, it still had her gaga stamp but it was pure pop delivered her way. Born This Way and ARTPOP supposedly try to be something more, these two albums are where she forces herself to be in the limbo I mentioned between making something possibly eccentric and making something for a Katy Perry consumer.
