What if she released Act II but dropped the act II name along with ARTPOP completely? She could hit the studio after the tour ends maybe with a couple new producers or whatever, re-mix or re-master what she has planned, record some fresh stuff. Then she could use the space trip as promo for the new album or EP or whatever. It would be a different era though, completely ending ARTPOP at the end of the tour. I think we all need to move on from the negativity that has plagued this era, and whilst the music of ARTPOP is still engaging and fresh, I think we need something else to motivate us. I'd love for us to get this soon, but I don't think I see it happening unfortunately, which is a shame, as I think it could be really good, if PARTYNAUSEOUS is anything to go by as her next sound. But now she has no choice but to turn around and release Act II for the space performance which is in 2015. but that goes against all of the statements she's made about releasing ACT 2 in 2014...she mentioned on twitter that even more new songs will be performed during the tour. how do you know that the break in June isn't to promote the 1st single from ACT 2? i know that's wishful thinking, but a new song for the summer would be epic (TEA?)
