Not that it counts, but

7 レディー・ガガ - Applause 0.4727 0.1738

Why can't US follow something like that?

I'm getting even more convinced that the rules that the Hot 100 follows are stupid. I mean, if a video that has nothing to do with a song goes viral and everybody watches it the song gets a better position even if radio and sales aren't increasing. Seriously? Talking about WB chat roulette video, nobody watches that because of the song, nobody cares about the song that's playing, the video is viral because it's funny and stuff.

The video is considered funny, because people know Wrecking ball.

I can do a video with me sitting still with Wrecking Ball playing and that wouldn't be funny and definitely not viral. I can understand counting streaming points for an official video that actually brings exposure AND sales for a song, but I can't understand counting a totally different thing like a random video. The same happened with Harlem Shake, and the videos went viral without people actually knowing anything about that 'song'. Is a song 'successful' just because funny videos get watched?

This way literally anything can go top 10 on the chart. Like, we could ask that guy to do a video with DWUW
