I would not even say she's sold out. True I was being a bit negative, there are some brilliant songs on Halcyon and that EP but I just found the album as a whole thing very underwhelming. Pop Art 1,773 Posted November 29, 2013 Share Posted November 29, 2013 Wish she performed DWUW on the special last night and scrapped Venus It has to do with the fact that they recorded it when Venus was slated to be the second single. I don't think she had any way of going back and rerecording even a small part for the new accommodation that is Do What U Want. That being said, it would have obviously been far smarter from a marketing standpoint to have Do What U Want instead of Venus. But, as I said, there was likely nothing she could do. Burn Is ****ing great, and I like that It's smashing, I am only a bit annoyed that It's smashing this late because: 1. It would've slayed way more If It was released to radios In August. 2. She deserves to do well I honestly cross my heart never liked the song. I knew she would pass Gaga ages ago anyway and me not liking it has nothing to do with gaga. I am not saying she doesn't deserve a hit, I am saying it's a shame people appreciate that more than her other songs that show off her talents better.
