I'm glad his label isn't dumping the album campaign after 1 bump in the road. :clap: That's how it SHOULD be. Idk.. craig 680 Posted November 27, 2013 Share Posted November 27, 2013 As we can see been one of the best sellers of the year on Amazon doesn't mean a big thing since she debuted with less than Katy and Miley Emiinem was #1 on Billboard's building chart which included 6 retailers which normally account for most sales, Amazon was key is her beating him by about 50k debut week. When I heard Gorilla was the 4th single, I knew it'd flop. It just sounds like a flop. Young Girls has that lively vibe Treasure had. Actually, discounting is the best way to make money. I have no idea why labels don't lower album prices in general. For example, an $11 album that sells 1M copies = $11,000,000 But the same album for $8 would push more copies, let's say 1.5M = $12,000,000 In the end, they'll probably make more money. On a brighter note, C2C seems bound to give Gaga her 3rd consecutive #1 album in the Billboard 200 since no other huge release is coming this January. It will be an award winner. I guarantee it.
