I guess this is to be expected I'm not too upset, at least the album snatched a bunch of credible #1s including the US. If I wasn't a Gaga stan and saw ARTPOP and PRISM in stores I'd probably go for Katy because it looks much more appealing. The ARTPOP cover appeals to her fans but that's about it. And I would never want Gaga to do something she didn't want to do just for chart success. But as we've seen with pretty much this entire era the "art" thing is turning people off and the cover is apart of that. That's not to say I don't personally like it.
