Listeners are hearing it everyday and have been for a while now. It's been great, but here isn't much more to get out of that single. Right now, Gaga is promoting her new single and her album. Gypsy is the perfect choice to represent the album, as it is ballady (which sells albums) and one of those songs where Gaga can sit at the piano and remind casual viewers that she has an amazing voice. The majority of SNL viewers already know about Applause. This will give them two new songs to add to Applause and might help some of them decide to check out the album.
