In a world where "Roar" and "Wake Me Up" top the charts worldwide, how can you truly expect an album that is so complex (perfect, but complex) from an artist that has never been more polarizing than during the Born This Way era to be W A Y more successful than PRISM or Bangerz? It's Lady Gaga 2.0 we're talking about (which IMHO opinion is the real Stefani Germanotta). I mean come on guys! If Gaga honestly wanted to remain the #1 popstar she was in 2009/2010, she would have never ever put out everything from Alejandro video to ARTPOP.
