In a new interview with England's Attitude magazine, the “Poker Face†singer copped to a serious marijuana addiction and said it escalated to brain-numbing heights because she used reefer to cope after breaking her hip earlier this year, The Sun in the U.K. reported. “It was a habit that eventually occurred when the pain got so bad with the hip,†the spliff-loving 27-year-old said, adding that her life became a smoke-filled cycle: sleep, sing, smoke. Lady Gaga seen leaving her London hotel wearing a black mask and head piece on Nov. 30, 2013. “I would break the habit and it would sneak back in, and I would break it and sneak back in,†the star confessed. Gaga has a professional high on the horizon  her new album, “ARTPOP,†is set to be released this weekend. But she’s also had personal lows that could have motivated her to burn one down  she was reportedly dumped recently by boyfriend Taylor Kinney, and her “X Factor†performance late last month was panned by critics. Like many artists who have blazed a path to super-stardom, Gaga said she previously used d--gs as a response to intense s-xual pressure she felt in the music industry. “I went through terrible experiences early in my career climbing through swine and swine of men in the music industry,†she said. I just read this on the daily mail: The Applause singer also feels her early experiences as a struggling artist contributed to her elevated d--g use. ‘Yeah, it’s trauma,’ she said. ‘I went through terrible experiences early in my career climbing through swine and swine of men in the music industry – just trying to get somebody to listen to my music and take me seriously as a songwriter instead of trying to get me to b*** them’ she said.
