Same huge promotion, same huge lead single (imagine Applause doing like BTW), same critical appeal, same buzz, but more commercial music, more singles option, more GP friendly image overall Yeah that's why Born This Way got 10 points more than ARTPOP on Metacritic and even Prism got more that the latter. This sucks, yea, but don't start saying she needs to give up her passion for art to be successful. That's ... She just needs to get back into the spotlight and perform well with catchy singles. No one must have been, since if you were, you'd know EXACTLY at which points of that year where there was mass exodus from GGD and from her fans overall. The people saying it's because of her interviews (that no one watches) or because of something as ridiculous as her talking about art have COMPLETELY missed the point lol. But anyway, that's fixable with promo. Easily. People like catchy music, which ARTPOP has. She's not on TV at all. Which is not good. When was that? So ****ing tired of the Born This Way attacking. It was a better era than this one at least. This so much. Drag 'em Stop the BTW shade, it managed to have a successful lead single, and a third single and fourth single being hits. And a massive tour. It's this era that's the problem. I mean both the products (ARTPOP and FAME perfume) were commercial products, not art in anyway but Gaga and her team make them out to be some artistic masterpeices, when in actual fact they are anything but, just designed to make money. I think this is what is turning people off, how Gaga has to make everything she does seem artistic and giving things deeper meaning when they are just commercial products. She just needs to promote. The album is hardly dead. It'll have 3 top 10 hits in the next few weeks when DWUW is added. Gosh. THIS so much. yeah but FAME actually sold 6 million bottles in a week and ranked as the #2 highest selling fragrance where ARTPOP is struggling to beat a Disney star album Well.. Yep, a new record during the tour would have been the best thing to do after BTW era when loads of people were so sick and tired of her :roll: She's a human being after all, if she needs a rest she was right getting it. ARTPOP underperformance doesn't have anyting to do with it IMO I'm sorry but you really think not making a record for 2.5 years for a POP star is a good idea?! when her las era only lasted for 5 months?!!. Katy did it because her era ACTUALLY lasted 2.5 years. Beyonce can stay relevant because she's always in huge public events, Rihanna releases new album every year. Gaga?!! she just disappeared. Marry the night was one of her most promo'd singles :dead: She literally performed it everywhere.
