Luc 4,775
she just needs hit singles on the radio Exactly, and you can still have big hit singles on the radio with or without huge promo in the first week. There's no point of doing such low promo besides saving it for a few weeks later to maximize christmas sales.
Mariano 958
I thought Aura was almost certainly the telephone sequel. It Is but let's hope It was scrapped ...
kupo 201
I thought Aura was almost certainly the telephone sequel. I still don't know how that rumor got started or what exactly she said to fan the flames, but I don't think she ever outright confirmed it, and by leaking Aura early and then making it a tie-in with Machete I think it seems highly unlikely that Gaga had intended it to cap off her own magnum opus. And the lyrics never made that much sense with it. Every body jumped on the spaghetti westernish intro, but the rest of the song makes no sense. And that might not be a big deal normally (like, why is Telephone the continuation of Paparazzi, after all), but we KNOW she purposely wrote a song this time to cap the thing off. The whole burqa metaphor just comes with all sorts of its own associated imagery and baggage that seems totally superfluous to the trilogy she's already been making. Whereas MANiCURE is about a woman not giving a damn and seeking a "man cure." i.e.--to cure the world of men. Which is what she and Honey B were doing in Telephone. I mean, "lookin serial killer, man is a goner." The lyrics pretty explicitly point to it. I'm not saying it's a hundred percent, and I think Aura is the second most likely, but once we got full lyrics to MANiCURE, it seemed to all but confirm that it was actually the sequel. Bt1 5,213
Unconditionally in ALL European (those not in the list are below top 500) #39 Ireland #40 Netherlands #54 Austria #54 Norway #70 United Kingdom #70 Germany #74 Switzerland #94 Malta #96 Luxembourg #105 Spain #136 France #154 Italy #208 Belgium #210 Denmark #279 Sweden #293 Turkey #345 Ukraine #363 Bulgaria THAT EMA IMPACT !!!! If there is an EMA effect, it would not be seen on the charts after the show because the ratings are really small. The effect is future promotion made by MTV for the artists who performed there. Mariano 958
Guys do you think Dope can slay ? I think It's flawless and I always forget about It when I talk about Singles ... But If she is going to release only 1 ballad I want It to be Gypsy although Gypsy starts as a ballad and then goes Mid - tempo and then Up tempo so It's not exactly a ballad .. If she Isn't releasing a 2nd volume next year, then she can release Dope as the final single Gypsy - Grammys G.U.Y. / Sexxx Dreams summer smash G.U.Y. / Sexxx Dreams for VMAs as the 5th single and then Dope final 6th single ? Bt1 5,213
Tbh, Sexxx dreams is not impresive live. Maybe its because there is too much prerecorded tape there, I dont know. But the official audio is a smash. If the song will be played by radio, it should deffinetely be a single.

Guest
It's her own fault she's flopping. What's the point in the song being a single if she's not going to promote it,but sing other songs instead. dumb dumb dumb
