He's #13 on pop and his video was released recently and he's not even top 50 on iTunes. TBTN was performed at the VMAs and it didn't save that song from flopping. Also, he was this era helped in any way by videos? I dont think he was. The performances were the ones that make the difference. If the AMA performance is good, the song will rise. They'd push anything Katy or JT threw out. But I'm not sure I've ever seen such a clear divide between radio wanting to make something happen and the public just clearly being like, "Umm.
