MTN only flopped because everybody hated her and because of Yoü and I, which flopped everywhere outside of the US. MTN would've gone 2x Platinum as second single for sure. Judas was risky because of the lyrics, it wasn't risky in the way ARTPOP's lyrics are, but it was risky because it was about religion and the GP saw it as a song about being in love with the devil. Releasing it at Easter wasn't a smart decision either. And Venus Is risky because It's weird ? I love It but It's not commercial enough to smash ... I think Venus would be a bad single choice at the moment, but not because of the riskyness, but because it's the worst-performing promo single and even Gypsy is charting higher at the moment.
