I don't think it was solidified in fact but I wouldn't doubt her label will try to make a Fame monsteresque EP to help sales if they really feel it's low.

 

But I feel like that would hurt her in a way. It would be literally a forced release and I don't see the point of it. TFM worked that well because it was a genuine release, not the "cleaning up the mess" one.

More and more I'm thinking music stans are miserable people.

If they aren't putting down other artists when they fail or hating them when they succeed, they're mad at their own artist for not obsessively working for chart glory.

Americano made a good point when comparing it to sports team. People who have favorite teams will cheer when their team is doing well, not be too happy when they're not, and talk **** about other sports team. It'd be pretty foolish to say that sports fan are miserable people. I don't like it when Gaga under performs, but her under performing isn't going to actually interfere with my life. Just like how if a sports team lose, people will be sad that their team lost but overall their life will still be the same.

LOL, the fact that Katy Perry is inspiring inferiority complexes in Lady Gaga fans is shameful. Pull yourselves together, gurls.

 

Seriously. Concern yourself with what really matters here: the fact that Gaga is, and will always be, an infinitely more interesting artist than Katy Perry.

 

The sports a--logy works on a level. But on another, it doesn't. Sports has a clear winner and a clear loser and that's the only goal. Art isn't that way. It can be commercialized and we can see those receipts, but that's a tangential outcome of the creation of art--NOT it's purpose or what makes us care about it in the first place. At most, it's a pleasant bonus.

 

This is why I hate stan-culture. You guys are feeling inferior to a group composed primarily of a bunch of adolescents who probably have barely listened to anything outside top 40 radio and have deplorable taste and incredibly limited cultural knowledge. It'd be like a fan of Martin Scorsese feeling and inferiority complex to a fan of Michael Bay just because Marty can't pull Bay's box office.
