Bye 3,947 Posted November 14, 2013 Share Posted November 14, 2013 Honestly though, if you just step back and listen to each album. I would easily rate TFM and ARTPOP first, then BTW, then the Fame. No bias in my choosing at all. The production is way better on ARTPOP than on all the other albums. I'm simply not going to credit metacritic anymore because this is just ridiculous. The production is cleaner in some places than her past efforts, but it's also more stale and sanitized and dull. And the songwriting is much weaker here, and the whole album is conceptually weaker. There's a lot more to a song than its production. Granted, 61 is a little below where I'd score it. (I'd give it a 6.5 or 7, depending on my mood). To each their own. I'd probably give her a 80.
