She's not even rehearsing every day. Any latenight talkshow, any morning/daytime talkshow. She could've pre-recorded a Voice or X Factor performance. She could've DWTS. Anything. But no. Gaga is rehearsing everyday, sometimes late into the night. Yes, she could have pre-recorded a performance for The Voice or X Factor, but once again, that was up to her team to schedule. The Voice is currently doing live shows. Maybe they didn't want a pre-recorded performance? Maybe they already had their live performances lined up for this week? That would be something for her team to work out. The US version of X Factor is a joke at the current time. It's ratings are horrible.
