Gaga can't be everywhere this week. She has a prior commitment with SNL. If she was just the musical guest, it would be a different story, but Gaga and her team made the commitment for her to be both host and musical guest. Unfortunately, last week SNL wasn't new, because that would have been the perfect week. That would have left this week for other forms of TV promo. Have you ever thought that some of this could come down to poor business decisions from her manager or her team? Why schedule her on SNL this week? Why release her album so close to Eminem's? Why was Applause in the top 5 of iTunes for weeks and weeks, but radio wasn't spinning it anywhere close to the spins they were giving Roar? What forms of payola did her team fail to come up with? All these types of issues are timing decisions and business issues. Gaga isn't a business person, she's the artist on this team.
