First off, what is HDD??

Second, how can they predict these sales and the album has only been out 3 days??

Thirdly, I always hear that the BTW era ruined her in the eyes of the GP. But did any of you stop to think that another factor that has turned people off from Gaga is her fans?? I know people and have heard people say time and time again, that they cannot stand her little monsters for the way that a lot of them behave online. Even people who like her, have said this! The only reason why we are MELT DOWNING is the fact we dragged Katy and we can't accept the fact that ARTPOP may probably debut with lower sales. We are just scared from how Katy fans will drag us!

If Gaga wasn't expected to have such pressure on her or if we didn't have pressure from her past sales, these sales would have been considered AWESOME.

I know it is because she turned off most of the GP and lack of promotion and stuff but I still believe in ARTPOP era.

Let's just ENJOY NOW.

Gaga WAS big, people are not into her new stuff. Even if she releases The Fame now it won't be successful, thanks to her weird image since 2011.

 

I bet her new tour will do good tho, because she lives off her old success if we're gonna be honest. People, can't accept any new thing from her,it has to be because of her image and bad promotion IMO.

Honestly, Gaga really does have to rebuild her whole image. It's her whole image, it's not the Born This Way era with Judas etc that hurt her the most, but her image. She's the crazy d--g addicted untalented ugly satanic slutty bis-xual freaky unlikeable pretentious hermaphrodite for the General Public. That's not going to help you. It's not abou the music, good music or bad music doesn't matter these days. It's about her whole image. Look at Japan, where her image is probably the best it can be: talented humanitarian that helped them a lot for the earthquake and really loves music, her fans and Japan with a passion. Look at Born This Way, it is nearing Diamond. Look at the US, where her image is probably the worst it can be. Born This Way sold 50% of its sales in its first week and her album, despite being really good, went 2x platinum.

 

 

How will she fix her image with the GP?

 

1. Stop the overly explicit songs. It's a bit too much on ARTPOP when 75% of the songs are about s-x.

2. Stop with the pretentiousness. Gaga, ARTPOP's music isn't 50% ART 50% POP like what you'd expect when you see the title. Don't go "as an artist", "this box that is pop music", "I write all of my music myself", etc. in every single radio interview.

3. Apologize for the things you've done in the past, especially the fur last year, the weed promotion. People simply don't spend their money on people who are going to spend it on things they're against these days when you can just get it for free.

4. Go on talk shows, be funny, don't be pretentious, laugh.

5. Stop with all the sanatic symbolism, it works against you. Even in my country where about 80% of the teenagers don't believe in god, like 50% believes in illuminati and stuff.

Lol. That will destroy her in a way or another.

for the first time i'm actually disappointed, but also sad for gaga, i can only imagine what she must be feeling/thinking right now. she really doesn't deserve all this **** from perez and the critics. I honestly thought she would do 500k. To go from 660k (theoretically excluding amazon) down to 275k, more than a 50% drop, is crazy. The pre-orders and amazon position honestly doesn't make any sense to me, but there ya go. Might go and buy another copy on US iTunes.  :(
